Are you looking to learn more about Future Problem Solving? Come join our summer training session! Several training sessions are available including:
- Competitive Division Beginning Coaches Training: For first time coaches, this strand will teach the Six-Step Problem Solving Process as well as how to implement the Global Issues academic competition into any content area, or as an extra-curricular activity.
- Evaluator Training: For those who have already been trained as beginning coaches, this session will instruct how to evaluate the Global Issues academic competition as well as how to utilize the evaluation system.
- Topics Preparation: For those who are experienced coaches and evaluators, this session will provide an in-depth look at all four of the Global Issues competitive topics for the upcoming school year and provide extensive classroom activities for participants.
- Creativity in the Community: For those interested in Community Problem Solving, Scenario Writing or those wanting to enhance creativity in their students through project based learning, service learning, creative writing, futuristic thinking, technology and spontaneous problem solving.
If attending the 2 days of training, you will receive a certificate approved by TEA & TAGT for 13 hours of credit. If you attend the games session as well, you will receive a certificate for 15 hours of credit. Game session is FREE with 2 day registration.
